Among the many who mentioned it, Don Andrea Gallo used to repeat that, in order to welcome, it is necessary to build bridges and not walls.
We are talking about this here, the Alta Val Fino is in effect one of the bridges in Abruzzo. It connects the Vestino territory to the Pretuziano one, the diocese of Penne to that of Teramo, the province of Teramo to that of Pescara.
Under the slopes of the Shirt and Tremoggia, the Fino rises and unravels almost to the sea, where it forms, near Città Sant’Angelo, with the Tavo, the Saline river.
And from the salt trade and ancient transhumances it draws its vocation to defend traditions and the authentic voice of peoples.
Val Fino is a treasure chest just waiting to be opened…
